About the Program

Simplified EU citizenship acquisition programs are equally suitable for representatives of all medical specialties. A new passport grants access to the rights of an EU citizen without the need to constantly renew visas and permits, simplifies border crossings, and enables free participation in international medical projects, training programs, and clinical internships. The new status ensures freedom of movement, financial protection, and stability — key factors for doctors working in different countries or cooperating with foreign clinics.
EU citizenship grants a doctor from outside the Union equal rights with European colleagues, including official employment in public and private clinics, obtaining a license and internships in European medical institutions, as well as opening a private practice or medical center. For business representatives in the medical sector, it is a tool for international development, tax optimization, and access to the EU single market. For a doctor’s family, an EU passport guarantees confidence in the future, quality education for children, and access to the local healthcare system.

Rights and Opportunities with an EU Passport

Global Mobility

An EU passport provides visa-free entry to 170+ countries, including Schengen Area jurisdictions, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan. The new status removes visa barriers, simplifying participation in international medical conferences and training programs.

Freedom of Choice

An EU citizen may reside and work in any Union country without additional permits; registration at the place of residence is sufficient. Doctors can choose the country with the most suitable conditions for their family and career.

Quality Education

An EU passport provides access to medical universities, research institutes, and professional development programs. Doctors may obtain grants, participate in residency programs, or complete internships at Europe’s leading clinics.

Healthcare

The unified EU health insurance system ensures treatment in Europe’s leading clinics, covers preventive examinations, and provides access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods.

Government Support

Doctors who are EU citizens have reliable social guarantees, including pension payments, disability benefits, and family and child support. This ensures stability even when changing jobs or taking temporary breaks from practice.

Employment

An EU passport allows official employment in any EU country. Medical professionals can enter into contracts directly with European clinics, participate in experience-exchange programs, and open their own offices without bureaucratic restrictions.

Business Development

EU citizenship provides access to the single European market. This makes it possible to register a clinic, consulting center, or telemedicine service, while optimizing taxes and expanding the patient audience.

Citizenship for Future Generations

European citizenship is passed on to children, providing them with access to quality education, a stable healthcare system, residence, and employment in any EU country.

For a doctor, EU citizenship becomes the key to professional freedom, opening the doors to Europe’s leading clinics and providing confidence in the future of their family.

Take the First Step toward freedom and stability

Market and Demand

Europe is experiencing steady growth in demand for medical personnel. According to WHO and European Commission estimates, EU countries will face a shortage of hundreds of thousands of doctors and mid-level medical staff by 2030. An aging population, expansion of the healthcare system, and development of the private sector create high and stable demand for specialists from abroad.

Within the EU, a single market for medical services is actively developing, where doctors across all specialties are in demand, from general practice and pediatrics to oncology and cardiac surgery. EU citizenship allows doctors to hold licensed positions without complex diploma recognition procedures, participate in European grant programs and research projects, and move freely between countries for work and professional development.

Against the background of a global shortage of medical specialists, EU citizen status reduces bureaucratic barriers and simplifies the execution of contracts and financial settlements.

Visa-Free Destinations
with an EU Passport

Simplified EU Citizenship Acquisition for Doctors

Visa Free — 160+ countries

An EU passport holder receives visa-free access to 160+ countries, which is especially convenient for doctors: participation in international conferences, training, and internships becomes easier, while travel to clinics and research centers in Europe does not require additional permits.

27 European Union countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, and others.

Visa on arrival — approximately 46 countries.

ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) — approximately 8 countries.

It should be noted that EU passport holders generally have an advantage over citizens of post-Soviet countries when obtaining U.S. and Canadian visas. As a benchmark, refusal rates for certain EU countries are below 3% for the United States and approximately 5% for Canada, compared with approximately 20% and 72% on average for CIS countries. A low refusal rate simplifies invitations from clinics and universities, accelerates document processing, and makes travel more predictable and secure.

We Go Through Every Stage with You

1 stage

At the initial consultation, the client informs a Jurpass employee about their request, as well as their goals, plans and personal situation. At the same time, the applicant completes a questionnaire containing questions about their lineage. The specialist analyses the information received and develops a personalised immigration strategy, taking into account all the particular features of the case.

2 stage

At this stage, the client provides all necessary documents, including a passport, civil status certificates, bank statements, school certificates and higher education diplomas. Where necessary, Jurpass employees search for and request lost certificates of the applicant’s ancestors from archives. After translation and legalisation of the documents, the file undergoes final legal review in order to minimise the risks of refusal.

3 stage

A representative of Jurpass submits the client’s file, together with their application for citizenship, to the competent immigration department of the selected country.

4 stage

After receiving a positive decision on their application, the client receives a document confirming the grant of the new status.

5 stage

On the basis of the certificate of citizenship, Jurpass specialists arrange for the client’s passport, ID card and other documents to be issued.

My wife and I are satisfied with your work. We had long wanted to move to the EU, somewhere calmer. We decided to turn to professionals, and our acquaintances recommended Jurpass. They advised us to use my wife’s Bulgarian origin. They found all the documents, helped submit them, and prepared her for the interview. Now my wife has a passport, and we live in France. Thank you very much for your work.
